Founder and Artistic Director

Alireza Namayandeh holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Geochemistry from Virginia Tech and an MFA in Theater from the University of Tehran, Iran. He’s a playwright, director, and maker of eco-performances. His works, as either playwright or director, performed in Iran and USA include Perhaps Life (2007), Man does not live by bread alone (2008, 2014), Crossing the Circle in a complicated situation (2010), A Drink for Eugène Ionesco (2014), Analyse (2015), and Rhino 2020 (2022).

Executive Director

Shagayeg is an actor and a dancer. She has acted in multiple plays, including Antigone (2008), A Drink for Eugène Ionesco (2014), Man does not live by bread alone (2014), and Rhino 2020 (2022). She also joined the Turkish Delight dance group in 2019 and performed in The Nutcracker musical play in 2021 at the Moss Arts Center, Blacksburg, Virginia. Shagayeg is also a PhD candidate in neuroscience at Virginia Tech University.
